Program C
Lawn Care
Our 6 Step Program, designed to improve and maintain the health, color and density of your lawn is a yearly program consisting of six applications.  These applications provide all the Nitrogen, Potassium and Phophorus while controlling crabgrass, broadleaf weeds, and surface feeding insects throughout the year.

START UP
Our first fertilizer application will green-up your lawn and promote its recovery due to winter stress.  Crabgrass & weed control will also be applied.

SPRING
Applications of fertilizer, crabgrass control  and broadleaf weed control will be applied as needed.

EARLY SUMMER
Slow release fertilization to continue root development through stressful summer months.  Insect and weed controls will be applied as needed.

LATE SUMMER
Fertilizer to maintain color and root development.  Weed and insect controls applied as needed.

FALL
Fertilizer to encourage new root development and keep lawn green.  Weed  controls applied as needed.

LATE FALL
High potassium-based fertilizer critical for winter survival.  Applications of pellitized lime to correct the soil's PH balance and weed control as needed.

Additional Services
Lawn Care

CORE AERATION
Compacted soil and heavy thatch build up tend to suffocate grass by preventing air, water and nutrients from reaching the root zone.  This produces a less than satisfactory lawn in spite of adequate water, fertilizer and tender loving care.  Aeration loosens the soil to allow water, air and nutrients to reach the root zone and reduces thatch build-up.

AERATION OVER SEEDING
Applying seed after aeration is recommended for bear patches and thin lawns.

MECHANICAL SLIT SEEDING
This process allows proper germination to occur.  The use of a specially designed machine slices the soil creating a seed bed to establish more integrated contact of seed and soil.

GRUB CONTROL
Eliminates damage caused by these pests.  Found in your lawn below the thatch layer, they feed on the roots of your grass.  Left untreated, they can cause considerable and sometimes total damage resulting in total lawn replacement.

FUNGUS CONTROL
Early detection of fungus is vital.  A regimen of proper maintenance combined with fungicide treatments is most effective.
